Lucky Sleep

I'm delighted to report that we have had a wonderful week of sleeping children!  Eamon adores his bed and sleeps well at night.  At the same time we bought Eamon's bed, we bought Meaghan a new mattress.  That has made a world of difference as well, since she no longer thinks she should sneak into our bed in the middle of the night.

And then, with the time change last night, I feel as if I slept in.  It was glorious to see 7:15 (new time) on the clock when I heard Eamon come running down the hall.  I know I didn't really sleep in, but mentally it's awesome to see 7 on the clock as opposed to 6, or 5.

On another note, in my effort to try to step outside my box and do pages I wouldn't normally do, I did another challenge last week.  Actually, I did two challenges, but used the same layout for both.  Once again I went to, and also did  If you haven't checked out penscrappers yet, I highly recommend it. With the challenge you get a free kit (some months are better than others), and you have the chance to win a Wacom Bamboo Tablet.  I got one for Christmas and love it.  I highly recommend it if you're looking for something to buy for digitial scrapbooking.

Since this is March, the challenge themes all seem to be based on luck.  To meet the requirements for both challenges,  I decided to do a layout about how lucky I am to have Kerry.  Frankly, I had a difficult time choosing this layout because I feel so lucky everyday about a variety of people and things.

Anyway, today the sun is shining and spring definitely fills the air.  I'm going to go and conquer the world now.  Or, maybe just go outside and play with the kids.
