The rainy days gave us a chance to watch Toy Story 2. I know #3 has come out, but since having kids I'm a bit behind on the movies. Long gone is the time when I would have seen in the theatres virtually every movie nominated in every Academy Award category. Now, I'm thrilled to see a movie released in the last decade. Anyway, my goal of clearing out the kids' toys has been sidetracked since seeing the agony on poor Jessie's face at being given away in TS2. A job for the fall or winter perhaps.
On a cheerier note, I've done some scrapbooking.
JessicaSprague.com has revamped the Photoshop Friday series. Every Wednesday Jessica releases a new "episode" that gives out a Photoshop technique and a layout for just $1 - the price increases Friday or Saturday of the same week. I signed up for them figuring that even if I knew the technique, I'd have a good layout for $1. I've just started working my way through the few episodes I have. It's great because it's not necessarily a layout I would ever do, but it gets some photos into a layout that might not necessarily make it. Plus, it only takes about 1/2 hour once you've chosen the photos. Tough to beat.
Given all the rain we've had, I decided to focus on sunnier days:
TEMPLATE and PAPERS: Jessica Sprague;
FONTS: You Are Loved, Elise and Geneva
I never would have used that orange paper, but I have to say, I like it.
The kids have crashed now after running wild at a great birthday party this afternoon so I'm going to go outside and enjoy a beautiful evening.
