Digital Scrapbooking Class Returns to Metro!

I'm excited that Metro Continuing Education is again offering my class "Digital Scrapbooking: Getting Started".

Isn't it about time you did something with all of your photos, rather than let them sit on your hard drive? And with today's technology (that would be Photoshop Elements), why simply print a photo when you can add dates, names or the stories behind your photos all in a scrapbook layout.

And digital pages need not look like traditional paper pages. They can be simple and graphic, or much more artistic, achieving a look that is impossible with paper. Regardless of the style you prefer, by the end of the class you have the know-how to make virtually any layout you want.

Think you have no creative side? Don't let that deter you. In the on-line world of digital scrapbooking you can find a variety of premade pages in which you simply insert your photos and add text. There are also some fantastic templates that let you add the digital papers and elements, in addition to your photos and text.  In moments, you can create an awesome page that records today's events for tomorrow's memories.

Don't have Photoshop Elements? No problem. You can download a 30-day trial version from to try it out.

So, head over to Metro's website and sign up for the class. Click here to register.

It starts October 12 and runs for 4 Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 9pm.

These are just two of the layouts you'll create in class:
