Since Eamon's birthday was only a couple weeks ago, I try to hold off on starting Christmas until December. It's fun to let the birthday excitement live on in the house for a while before we move on to the next big event.
But I'm pleased that December starts today.
Three years I started a December Daily album - one scrapbook page a day for every day in December. It has turned into my absolute favourite annual project. And I'm gearing up again for it this year.
I try to make it all quite simple: a digital kit that I love, and some templates. Admittedly, by the end of December I'm tired of looking at the same paper, elements and page layouts, but by the time the printed book arrives in January, I can't look at it enough! And looking back over the last three years of December warms my heart thoroughly.
So, I'm excited to get started this weekend. I've chosen my digital kit and templates.
The kit is Christmas Day by Carta Bella and is available at JessicaSprague.com. (And it's currently on sale!)
As for the templates, I thought I'd chosen my pack, but then suddenly Liv.EDesigns came out with a simple and wonderful template collection called Center of Attention, also available at JessicaSprague.com, and on sale!
Welcome December!!

I'm feeling excited this year...its the oddest/coolest thing. I like your scrapbook idea!
ReplyDeleteMy youngest's birthday is the last day of November so I always hold out until December 1st to start the Christmas preparations. It can never come soon enough for me!
