Project Done. Resume Life.

At last I can take a deep breath and a big sigh. Last spring I starting working on a photo book from our trip to Disneyland. But then I stalled. Summer came and went. I finished my summer album. The kids became occupied with school and activities. You know; life takes over. But this book is to be a Christmas present for my sister and niece, who came with us on the trip. I doubt they visit this site, so I'm safe in saying so.

Unfortunately, I have no faith in our mail system and I wanted the book done by the end of October so that it had plenty of time to arrive. The end of October had come and gone and it was time to get down to business. I finished it yesterday (even though my computer had a bit of a crash mid-afternoon) and got it ordered. I will undoubtedly find a mistake within the first 30 seconds of looking at the book when it arrives. Delaying ordering the book would not have changed that.

Now that the book is out for printing and need only arrive at my doorstep, I finally have time to move onto scrapping other bits of life - at least until I start my December album in a few short weeks. Today, I started with this:

  1. I tried to make a very, very simple photo book for my Mom using the London Drugs website. After several fruitless hours, I gave up in frustration. At least I didn't punch the computer.
